Papier Masson Ltée has an ongoing commitment toward the communities of Masson-Angers, Buckingham and L’Ange-Gardien. The management of Papier Masson Ltée meets regularly with the mayor, members of the provincial legislature, and federal members of Parliament. The purpose of these meetings it to make known the company’s plans and activities.

Papier Masson Ltée believes that its objectives for long-term profitability can take place only in a context of social, economic and cultural progress. In addition, Papier Masson Ltée seeks to make a contribution as a corporate citizen to the well-being and quality of life of the citizens and communities to whom it is connected through its activities.

Papier Masson Ltée is also a leading sponsor in major community events, such as the Buckingham en Fête summer festival and the Blitz Bruce Lemieux golf tournament organized by the Lions Club on behalf of the families in need. Papier Masson Ltée is also a significant donor to charitable organizations in the region.

The funds are administered by the human resources department and are intended mainly for not-for-profit individuals, groups, associations and agencies working in the local communities.
