Masson Ltée! Our company
has been in operation since December 18, 1998, when a group of
private and institutional investors purchased the newsprint mill
in Masson-Angers from Industries James Maclaren Inc.
Originally constructed in 1928-1929 and modernized several times
since then, the mill now produces over 225,000 tonnes of newsprint
per year on its paper machine constructed in 1986. The quality
of our paper is now recognized internationally thanks to the new
pulping process inaugurated in September 2000 at a cost of $158
million.
